Ward 2 has grown quickly. New families, new neighbourhoods and new businesses are becoming part of our community every year.
But growth also brings responsibility. Roads need to keep up. Parks and recreation need to keep up. Safety, transportation and community services need to keep up.
I believe Ward 2 deserves a strong voice at Council — one that is accessible, practical and focused on getting results.

Meet Yogi
A NEIGHBOUR FIRST.

I'm Yogi Chahal. My wife and I have made Ward 2 our home, and this is where we have built our life.
Since 2017, I've worked in real estate across Caledon and the GTA. That work has taken me into neighbourhoods, homes and conversations with families throughout our community.
I've seen how quickly Caledon is changing — and I've also seen the gap that can develop between new growth and the infrastructure and services people depend on.
I decided to run because I believe our community deserves someone who will be accessible, prepared and willing to work hard for Ward 2 every day — not just during an election.

WHY DID I RUN?
I didn't enter this race because I was looking for a title.
I entered because I care about where our community is going.
Ward 2 is growing. Our families are growing. Our expectations should grow too.
I want to bring a practical voice to Council — one that understands both the opportunities and the challenges of a rapidly growing community.
I want residents to have a Councillor they can reach, talk to and hold accountable.
And I want Ward 2 to have a stronger voice when decisions are made about roads, transportation, safety, recreation, parks, development and the future of our community.
That's why I'm running.

Addressing traffic concerns, speeding, pedestrian safety and neighbourhood mobility.

Making sure infrastructure planning keeps pace with residential growth.
Parks, Trails & Recreation
Building a community where families have places to play, exercise and connect.
Families & Community
Supporting neighbourhoods where people know their neighbours and feel they belong.
Youth & Community Opportunities
Encouraging programs and initiatives that give young people opportunities to participate and lead.
Responsible Development
Growth should be planned thoughtfully, with infrastructure and community needs considered from the beginning.
Accountable Local Government
Residents deserve clear communication, accessibility and responsible decision-making.

For nearly a decade, I've worked in real estate across Caledon and the GTA. I've watched subdivisions become neighbourhoods, farmland become communities and families build their lives here.
That experience has taught me something important: growth is not just about houses.
It's about roads. Schools. Parks. Recreation. Transportation. Services. Jobs. Safety.
If we build the homes first and figure out everything else later, residents pay the price.
I want Ward 2's growth to be planned with the whole community in mind.
